Overview

The Doku Doku no Mi is a deadly Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that grants its user the ability to produce and control deadly poisons and toxins from their body. As a Substance Generator, it allows the user to create various types of poisons, toxic vapors, and venomous constructs. This Devil Fruit is considered Very Rare due to its lethal potential, versatile poison applications, and complete immunity to all toxins.

Abilities & Powers

Passive Abilities

Poison Immunity (Passive)

Cost: Passive Effect: You are completely immune to poison damage and the poisoned condition. Your body has adapted to constantly produce and handle deadly toxins without harm.

Venomous Body (Passive)

Cost: Passive Effect: Your sweat, blood, and bodily fluids are mildly poisonous. Any creature that touches you or hits you with a melee attack while within 5 feet takes 1d4 poison damage.

Cantrip Abilities (At Will)

Toxic Spray (Cantrip)

Type: Action Range: 30 ft Duration: Instantaneous

You spray a stream of poison at a creature within range.

Effect: Make a ranged spell attack. On a hit, the target takes 1d10 poison damage.

Scaling: The damage increases when you reach higher levels:

  • 5th level: 2d10
  • 11th level: 3d10
  • 17th level: 4d10

Active Abilities

Poison Cloud (Action)

Cost: Action (No Charges) Range: Self (10 ft radius) Duration: Concentration, up to 1 minute

You exhale a cloud of poisonous gas around yourself.

Effect: All creatures within 10 feet of you must make a Constitution saving throw (DC = 8 + CON + Proficiency) when you use this ability and at the start of each of their turns while in the cloud. On a failed save, they take 2d6 poison damage and are poisoned until the start of their next turn. On a successful save, they take half damage and are not poisoned.

The cloud moves with you and provides light obscurement.

Hydra Formation (Reaction)

Cost: Reaction (No Charges) Trigger: When you are hit by a melee attack Range: Self Duration: Instantaneous

You can create a poisonous hydra head from your body to strike back at an attacker.

Effect: The attacker must make a Constitution saving throw (DC = 8 + CON + Proficiency). On a failed save, they take 2d8 poison damage and are poisoned until the end of their next turn. On a successful save, they take half damage and are not poisoned.

Devil Fruit Techniques

This Devil Fruit has 9 charges and regains all charges daily at dawn.


Poison Armor (1-3 Charges)

Type: Action Range: Self Duration: 1 hour

You coat your body in a thick layer of deadly poison that shields you and harms attackers.

Effect: Choose how many charges to spend (1-3):

  • 1 Charge: Gain 5 temporary hit points. When a creature hits you with a melee attack, they take 5 poison damage.
  • 2 Charges: Gain 10 temporary hit points. When a creature hits you with a melee attack, they take 10 poison damage.
  • 3 Charges: Gain 15 temporary hit points. When a creature hits you with a melee attack, they take 15 poison damage.

Venom Breath (2+ Charges)

Type: Action Range: Self (15 ft cone) Duration: Instantaneous

You exhale a powerful blast of concentrated poison in a cone.

Effect: All creatures in a 15-foot cone must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC = 8 + CON + Proficiency). On a failed save, targets take 3d6 poison damage. On a successful save, targets take half damage.

Upcast: For each additional charge spent beyond 2, the damage increases by 1d6.


Venom Mist (3+ Charges)

Type: Action Range: 120 ft (20 ft radius) Duration: Concentration, up to 10 minutes

You create a cloud of poisonous mist in a large area.

Effect: Choose a point within range. All creatures in a 20-foot-radius sphere centered on that point must make a Constitution saving throw (DC = 8 + CON + Proficiency). On a failed save, targets take 5d8 poison damage. On a successful save, targets take half damage.

The area is heavily obscured. Any creature that enters the area or starts its turn there must make the saving throw again.

Upcast: For each additional charge spent beyond 3, the damage increases by 1d8.


Poison Hydra Heads (4 Charges)

Type: Action Range: 60 ft Duration: Concentration, up to 1 minute

You create three massive hydra heads made of poison that attack your enemies.

Effect: You summon 3 poison hydra heads. Each head can attack independently as a bonus action on your turn. Make a melee spell attack with each head against a creature within 60 feet. On a hit, the target takes 3d10 poison damage and must make a Constitution saving throw (DC = 8 + CON + Proficiency) or be poisoned until the end of their next turn.

The heads last for the duration or until you lose concentration. You can command them to attack different targets or focus fire on one enemy.

  • Submersion in Seawater: Cannot swim, sinks immediately
  • Partial Submersion: Disadvantage on all ability checks, attack rolls, and saving throws
  • Power Suppression: Devil Fruit abilities suppressed while in significant seawater contact
  • Standing Water: Rain, baths, and small amounts of water do NOT suppress powers
