Overview
The Seven Warlords of the Sea are (or were) a powerful faction of seven pirates who worked alongside the government, similar to the Shichibukai system from canon One Piece. Members received immunity from Marine bounties in exchange for cooperation with government interests, creating a three-way balance of power between Marines, Pirates, and Warlords.
The party discovered evidence of this faction in Session 3 while exploring the Pirate King Henry statue, which contained seven chambers - each dedicated to a different Warlord. All seven rooms showed heavy fire damage, suggesting a coordinated attack or systematic collapse of the Warlord system at some point in the past.
Two known Warlords have direct connections to the party:
- Chief Bjorn - Killed by party unknowingly in earlier session
- Snippy the Clown - Currently employing party for bounty work
The revelation that the party has killed a Warlord and now works for another raises questions about their role in larger political machinations and potential consequences from this powerful faction.
